Complain Detail:-> Medlife shows low MRP of pharmacy items on its web portal to attract the Customer. Once the Customer places the order, the Medlife pharmacist calls back within next 2-3 hrs and confirms the availability of items ordered by customer and then there is a confirmation SMS sent to the customer with final amount to pay (Rs.1075 in one of my case), along with a link to make the payment. The real fraud game starts here after. By the time the customer visits the payment link, the MRP of items starts fluctuating like stock market. Even the confirmed date of order delivery keeps moving everyday with a silly reason of one of the items gone out of stock (which was already confirmed to be available by the Medlife pharmacist over the call before final payment SMS was received). They would not split the order and deliver the available medicine to the patient at the first committed schedule date for next day delivery, while they wait to procure 1 of the 7 items in the order that was reported to be out of stock. The price of some of the available medicines keep increasing, some other item reportedly goes off the stock as the Customer keeps waiting for the delivery and continuously advising them to split the delivery into 2 parts and immediately deliver the available items in stock. While the Customer keeps waiting for 4-5 days for delivery of fully paid order, the order price keeps increasing, the items in order is charged to a lower quantity, offered discounts are lowered or taken off and the confirmed date of order delivery date keeps moving to the next date.. ALL THIS WITHOUT TAKING A CONSENT FROM THE CUSTOMER! Finally, a fine day Customer gets an SMS that the order has been packed and is out for delivery. The customer keeps waiting whole day at the address in hope to get the items finally delivered to his address. But no better than earlier, the Customer receives another SMS next day after waiting for entire week, that the order has been cancelled and the payment would be credited back to his account within another 9 days! What a joke of online pharmacy serving the ailing patients. A similar incident happened even earlier where the medicine price got restored back to its lowest possible MRP after the delivery of order at inflated MRP. I look forward for revoke the license of such unethical pharmacy; payment of compensation of Rs.1 Lac and Rs.100 for each day of uninformed delay with Full refund of the payment.
